Beaumaris Castle
The castle and moat represent the “state of the art” in castle building. Never completed due to resource constraints (more men had to leave to fight those pesky Scots), the castle hosts numerous events through the year.
Keep an eye out and you can become a dragon, or attend the medieval festival.
Walking around the castle
Sections of the castle can prove a little tricky if you have trouble walking. However, all the central areas pose no real difficulties.
